Australian Journal of Emergency Management
The Australian Journal of Emergency Management (AJEM) has been published since 1986. The journal began as the Macedon Digest in March 1986, and then in 1995 the name was changed to the Australian Journal of Emergency Management. Since then the presentation of AJEM has been updated to ensure the design and content remains contemporary and of interest to the readership.
AJEM is produced on a quarterly basis and subscriptions are free of charge. Articles for AJEM are encouraged from contributors nationally and internationally and academic articles are peer reviewed.
Volume 24 Number 4 (November 2009) was not published. Instead a revamped and transformed edition of the journal was published on 31 January 2010. The current publication dates are:
- 31 January
- 30 April
- 31 July
- 31 October
