  TC Zoe crossed the coast at Coolangatta, causing little wind damage but eroding Gold Coast beaches and producing massive flooding in Brisbane - Gold Coast area creeks and rivers and in northern NSW. At Murwillumbah 200 people were evacuated, and at Lismore 500 families.Many homes were damaged.

Landslides cut the railway line in four places between Casino and Coffs Harbour.
