EBSCO Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Center
This comprehensive full-text database provides coverage of business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis communication, disaster mitigation, emergency preparedness and organisational resilience.
ProQuest
This database provides access to over 5,000 journals, with full-text available on most. Journal titles include Disaster Prevention and Management, Time, New Scientist, and National Geographic. The ProQuest training centre includes quick reference guides on how to use the database.
ProQuest ANZ Newsstand
This database includes a selection of full-text newspapers and newswires from Australia and New Zealand covering regional and international topics.
Australian Emergency Management Institute students
Students enrolled with the Institute in the Advanced Diploma can access the following databases.
Emerald Management Xtra
A comprehensive collection of peer reviewed management journals, featuring access to 150 full-text journals, including Disaster Prevention and Management.
SwetsWise
Full-text access to a number of journals subscribed to by the library, including:
- Disasters - the Journal of Disaster Studies and Management
- International Journal of Critical Infrastructures
- Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management, and
- Natural Hazards.
