AEMI conducts a range of competency-based courses designed to improve Australia's capability to mitigate, manage and recover from disasters.

AEMI runs a series of professional development courses, ranging from introductory courses to skills enhancement courses for experienced practitioners. These courses are not aligned with competencies and do not have an assessment requirement.
