Students

At the Australian Emergency Management Institute (AEMI) we offer professional education and development programs to emergency management specialists across all levels of government, non-government organisations and critical infrastructure industries. Students who attend our courses already work in the emergency management sector as paid employees or as volunteers.

Those who participate in our courses must be familiar with emergency management concepts and principles and with State/Territory and Australian Government emergency management arrangements. Information on emergency management concepts, principles and arrangements can be found on our website on the Emergency Management page.

Some courses have specific prerequisites and these will be listed along with all the other course details accessible from the Courses page.
