Funded Programs
The Attorney-General's Department provides funding for programs to assist States, Territories, communities and individuals to prepare and plan for disasters, and respond to and recover from disasters.
The current programs operating are:
- National Aerial Firefighting (NAF)
- Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA)
- Natural Disaster Resilience Program (NDRP)
- National Emergency Volunteer Support Fund (NEVSF)
From 1 July 2010, the NEVSF will be integrated into the Natural Disaster Resilience Program.
